I have finally finished something creative... when I went to the Craft & Quilt Show the other week, one of the WorkShops that I did was this hands-on Vintage PostCard workshop put on by
Lace Cottage an internet lace & braid business here in Qld. It was a fun W/S and I got some of it done but I was a tad busy talking & looking at the books that Ann & Lorna had to show us but I have finished it all now & I'm very pleased with it - although I do need to learn to cut the frayed threads with my rotary cutter 'before' I set to sewing around it ... still in my learning curve but having a great time ... thanks Ann & Lorna...

Hi Bethel, Thanks for visiting my blog. This piece is beautiful.
The sea glass I find is pollution, Restaurant owners used to throw bottles, broken china, and glassware into the lake when there was a restaurant on the water years ago. With that and swimmers and boaters tossing things overboard, we have quite a lot of glass that washes up. Now it has become my treasured mermaid's tears.

A very beautiful card. Eventually I'll expand my horizons to mixed media. Very inspiring.
