Thank You for popping over... if I have gone AWL, again...
Please come a knocking over at this door... I am, no doubt, up to something, as per usual...

Well it seems I have done it again... what you ask?
Well I've missed the big Knitta Please Event at the National Gallery of Australia [in Canberra]
seems I was too busy living too hectic a life here... then I found out I not only missed the event in blogland but even in the real... it's all over, as it was on the 5th - 12th but don't let my slacko-ness stop you from popping over & having a look... it's amazing & I'm thinking my letterbox, even some of my palms could do with a little wrapping woolly goodness in this cold weather... so as soon as I send off my Coral Reef I'm into making some wraps for my place...
Grrl+Dog was at the forefront of it all with her Guerilla Knitting... check out her place in the blogsphere... She has another great knitting event coming up too so do check it out...
Here are what other's have to show...
I believe a lot of the Fun knitters are doing Sturt Winter School in Mittagong - a weeks classes with Loani Prior having a great time I hope... great work folks & to the folks from all over the world that contributed to Knitta Please...

Dear Bethel,
Thanks for your kind words of support and encouragement. I'm resisting the demon drink in case it totally unhinges me but a restorative extra dose of caffeine is being craved in increasingly parabolic doses!
The Mittagong workshop is great and Loani is a joy to work with, or to resist when making tea cosies out of (very) odds and (very) ends. I may be unable to drive back home due to post-tea cosy stress syndrome. Denice from grrl+dog is also so inspirational and there are some other great people here as well. Highly recommended.
Must drag myself to brekkie-up the hill-in the cold-must knit-must knit-must knit. Cheers...
Steph

Hi Bethel! It looks like you crochet to beat the stress... good therapy! I'm sorry to read of your Mum having fallen and having a difficult time, and your hubby's Mum not well either. It must all take a toll on you! Hang in there, and KEEP CROCHETING!! Hugs, Cat

the word verification is "blesse", and with that... be blessed!
